This is an amusing, down-home sort of outing, with different themes each week and some fine artisans putting on demonstrations in front of the district office, opposite YMCA Crafts. Today is “Charms of Painted Paper Parasols”. Next Saturday it’s “Basketry and Wood Carving Delights”; on January 31, “Saa Papers for Love”; February 7 “Land of Cotton”; February 14 “Sankampaeng Lady Pageant”; and February 21 a fashion show.
